WE’RE UP THE CREEK
Coming to Up The Creek is an experience that’s so fun and fresh..... We are locally owned and locally operated, it is almost like taking a mini-vacation. Right away, you notice the welcoming architecture and landscaping ... the distinctive neon logo sign ... the unique ironwork touches ... the friendly benches.
Inside, you’re greeted with a colorful 400-gallon saltwater aquarium (a favorite with youngsters of all ages) and all kinds of wonderful memorabilia: Framed fishing magazine ads from 50 years ago ... rustic metal signs ... fishing trophies ... rods, reels, waders, it’s an upbeat, yet laid-back feeling that has you smiling --- and that’s before you dive into our fantastic food.
Our guests are first attracted to our full lineup of appetizers. Perhaps you’ll go for the Shrimp and Lobster Fondue - a blend of shrimp, lobster, spinach and mushrooms in a rich creamy cheese and white wine sauce. It’s topped with melted grated cheese and served with grilled garlic toast for dipping. Or maybe our tasty Coconut Shrimp appetizer sounds too good to resist: butterflied shrimp, hand-breaded with coconut and served with sweet and tangy dipping sauce.
Then it’s on to our delectable seafood entrees. Take the Mixed Seafood Grill --- a mouthwatering combination of Lemon-Lime Shrimp, Jim Beam Salmon and Grouper --- all seasoned just right and grilled to perfection. Another seafood favorite is our Shrimp Trio: Shrimp Scampi Pasta, char-broiled Lemon-Lime Shrimp and hand-breaded Fried Shrimp --- it’s a shrimp lover’s dream come true!
Up the Creek features plenty of traditional favorites as well, but we do them with special flair. For our steaks, we start with grain-fed Midwestern beef, hand-cut to our specifications, then custom seared over selected hardwoods to each guest’s exact request. Our pasta dishes are popular too, especially our Seafood Pasta Imperial --- a hearty portion of shrimp, lobster, whitefish and mussels in a rich vodka sauce.
And we haven’t forgotten the kids --- they can enjoy their favorite foods, from chicken fingers and fried shrimp to grilled entrees including whitefish, chicken breast and shrimp.
So at Up The Creek, our menu is not only designed to be different --- it’s also designed to appeal to every taste; young, old, seafood lovers, and everyone who appreciates traditional dishes deliciously prepared.
