Description:  Veterans of the Tulsa, Oklahoma music scene, the members of ADMIRAL TWIN (Mark Carr - bass guitar, vocals; Jarrod Gollihare - drums, vocals; John Russell - guitar, vocals) played in various bands before timely break ups of those bands cleared the way for the guys to meet. They took their name, Admiral Twin, from a landmark drive-in movie theater in Tulsa. They quickly gained a rather fervent following and in 1997 went into the studio to record their debut CD, Unlucky. To support the new CD, in the summer of 1998 the group set out on an extensive tour of North America with local friends and international pop-stars, Hanson. In 1999 the group went back into the studio to record their first nationally released album, the 2000 release Mock Heroic on the Mojo/Universal label. With two critically praised albums under their belt, the group had now made a name for themselves in the pop rock market. The band would go on to release their Christmas 2001 EP which featured eclectic versions of some traditional Christmas carols, and a collection of outtakes from their first two albums entitled Odds & Ends in 2002. Currently Admiral Twin is promoting their latest CD, Creatures of Bread & Wine.
