 The Society of Exploration Geophysicists (SEG) invites you to "see inside the Earth" at this unique museum and learning center. Unique interactive exhibits and hundreds of historical instruments and inventions teach visitors of all ages in discovering the inescapable connection between their lives and the Earth. Because SEG is a global professional society of 17,000 members from 110 countries, the Center has career/vocational, university and scholarship information for those interested in pursuing studies in the earth sciences. A traveling museum with hands-on activities may also be scheduled to visit area schools. School and group tours available by appointment (not recommended for children under the age of 8.) Visitors with children are encouraged to call ahead for tour schedule. Summer programs are scheduled for children age 5 and up. Free field trips offered to educators who have completed appropriate workshop training through their association with OERB. Free Admission.
